Castograd is a complete 11th edition tournament terrain set for Warhammer 40k, built to the current competitive terrain layout so your table plays the way the top tables do.

You get a full board of hard cover in one cohesive grimdark warehouse style, from multi-storey ruins to hardened silos, trench lines, and stacked shipping containers. It is the dense, objective-packed midfield that 11th edition rewards, with true line of sight blocking, clean movement lanes, and a table that stays readable at a glance. Every piece shares the same battle-worn Castograd look, so the board reads as one ruined warehouse instead of a mix of odd parts.

Care: PLA softens in high heat, so avoid leaving in a parked car during summer or in direct sun for long periods. Bring it inside after a game day and it will last for years.

Made in Canada, each product arrives unpainted and printed from durable, non-toxic PLA. Assembly may be required for some components. Every item is carefully inspected before shipping, although the 3D printing process may leave minor imperfections requiring light preparation before use. Looks great, works great. I love how easy it is to pack away for storage or transportation. Already played many games with it. I love that it fits my Votann, it took way too long for someone to finally make space dwarf terrain.

Great Concept, but Slides Out of Place Too Easily.

Unfortunately, these terrain footprint markers aren't working well for me. The material has virtually no grip. The markers slide very easily on my gaming mat, and my three-D-printed plastic ruins also slide on top of the markers. Even lightly touching or moving a terrain piece can shift everything an inch or two out of position, making gameplay frustrating.
The surface is so slippery that it almost feels like playing air hockey. Everything glides around with very little resistance. I feel like I'd have to apply some kind of rubberized or latex coating to both sides of the markers just to create enough grip to keep everything in place.
Another issue is that the larger footprints, which come in two sections, tend to curl or warp where they join. Because the pieces don't lie completely flat, the connecting pins don't hold them together properly. The uneven surface can also cause miniatures to wobble.
The concept is good, but the material and overall usability are disappointing.

they are pretty nice. very thin and having red and blue is nice. however the larger pieces are two seperate pieces unlike what is advertised.

Our early prototype was a single piece, but after feedback from players we split the larger markers into two so they fit more easily in army cases. Sorry that wasn't clearer. We'll make sure our listing reflects it better.

Is this terrain paint-ready?

Yes. Every piece is printed in high-quality PLA with supports removed and surfaces cleaned. Prime and paint straight away, or play with it as-is.

What scale is this terrain?

Designed for 28-32mm tabletop gaming, so it fits Warhammer 40k, Kill Team, D&D, and most other wargames and TTRPGs. Check the dimensions in the listing for the exact footprint

Do I need to assemble it?

Most pieces ship ready to play. Larger pieces that exceed a single print plate ship in parts with alignment connectors and take about 5 minutes with a drop of super glue. The listing will say if assembly is needed.

What material is it printed in?

Terrain is printed in PLA plastic, the tabletop standard. It is rigid, holds fine detail, takes primer and acrylic paint well, and stands up to regular game night handling. Miniatures are printed using strong ABS-like cured resin.

How long until my order ships?

Everything is printed to order on our farm in British Columbia, Canada. Orders typically ship within 1-3 business days.
